Learning the Secret: The Truth about Fear

. How many times in your life have you allowed the fear of something to stop you? Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of rejection, fear of embarrassment, the list can go on and on. I would be willing to bet that every human being on our planet has been faced with fear of some kind in their life. We all have fears, but the big question is how do you face them? I want to share with you what the truth about what fear really is, because when you have a better understanding of fear and how it works, well.... in a way you will become fearless. . To understand, we need to have a short overview about how our brains function. Once you have an awareness about the way your brain functions, you will understand how fear works in the brain. We all have 2 parts to our mind. A conscious mind and subconscious mind. Our conscious mind is what we think about that we are AWARE of. It is the part of your mind that is responsible for logic and reasoning. This includes such things as the sensations, perceptions, memories, feeling and fantasies inside of our current awareness. We have control over our conscious mind, and it is very useful. . Our subconscious mind is always running in the background. This is where our habits, personality, beliefs(hidden or known), emotions, uncontrolled thoughts(mind chatter) and a lot more lies. The decisions and actions we make with our conscious mind is actually a reflection of what we believe in our subconscious, and in truth, it controls what we allow or do not allow ourselves to do. Our conscious mind fires about 2000 bits of information per second. Our subconscious mind fires about 7 BILLION bits per second. So right there ask yourself, who is running the show. Obviously your subconscious mind. . Your emotions are controlled by your subconscious mind. That's why you sometimes might feel afraid, anxious or down without wanting to experience such a feeling. You can take back control of these emotions with your conscious mind, by thinking about and doing things that bring you joy. YOU control your emotions, don't allow your emotions control you. . It is very important to find out about what your subconscious holds, and also what you impress upon your subconscious because it will effect every aspect of your life. I could go into further detail with this, however, I want to focus on fear right now. . Fear is mearly an illusion, and this is why. When we have a thought or idea, our subconscious mind will naturally, without our control or consent, cause our conscious mind to think of the positive AND negative outcome or experience to that thought. It is the law of polarity, and there is always both sides of the pole. So, we have the actual thought or idea, and the possible positive outcome to that idea, as well as the opposite negative outcome to that idea. Our mind will naturally think of both outcomes to any thought. . Fear comes into play because our brains cannot tell the difference between thoughts we think that are actual situational facts of our human experience, or if they are just fictional thoughts. Basically it doesn't know what is truth or a lie. An experience or just a thought. . Because of this fact, when the negative thought about what could happen enters our conscious mind, our subconscious mind(based on what your subconscious beliefs are) will automatically start causing us to take actions and make decisions to protect us from that negative opposite to your positive inspiration. This is the fear that your mind actually created. Fear is actually an illusion that your mind created with the negative thought. It is not reality, yet our subconscious mind starts protecting us from it without our awareness, stopping our inspired actions because of the fear of the fictional negative outcome. . I will use a example to clarify this: . Bob has and idea for a great business. He has a great plan and is excited, motivated, but he will need to get a $20000 loan. His negative thought to his positive idea is the business fails, and he loses everything because he can't pay the bill. Bill starts to find possible things that could go wrong with his plan, and the "what ifs.." about where things might go wrong start taking over. He starts losing interest, and eventually gives up his business plan because of the fear of failure. He goes back to the same thing he has been doing, with his story about "If I ever have the money, I would like to......." Bob does not even realise that he created this fear about his business failure, and that it was responsible for his giving up.. . What if Bob, as soon as the "what if it fails" thought came up said, "It will not fail, I will work through any challenges, and I will make it successful." Bob chooses to ignore the thought of failure, and moves through that fear. What if Bob continued to be inspired by his vision, and his business ended up becoming a huge success. What if the business failed, but along the way he meets his future wife, or another person or a better opportunity comes his way BECAUSE of the failure. What if he learns a lot of new information, and he original idea grows and changes with him, and he ends up with a totally different successful business. . You see, we need to stop the thought as soon as it comes up and look for the better outcome. For every though you have of why you can't, think of 5 reasons why you CAN. Realise the negative thought or fear, is only an illusion that you created. It is a natural "function" in your brain that you can choose to reject. Everything happens for a reason, and that reason is to serve your higher purpose, whether you realise it or not. Our inspired action is always for the greater good, will always benefit us, and we will always learn. . Keep strong and follow through with your inspired actions. When fear and doubt come into your mind, know that all it is, is a natural response your brain gives as a result of your thinking. You have the choice and ability to reject that fear. Choose the positive outcome thoughts. Allow those to drive you to reach your goals. Stop the negative chatter in your mind as soon as it starts and you will be free to walk fearless towards your goals and dreams.

Learning the Secret: The Power of Positive thoughts

I am sure you have heard people say to "think positive", but do you? There is more to just thinking positive then what most people realise. The present moment is your moment of power, and your thoughts are the fuel getting you to where you want to go. It is essential that the fuel you give yourself is the absolute BEST quality! In other words, you must insure the thoughts you are thinking will be beneficial to your growth, nourishing and positive. Prepare to become the eternal optimist.

In order for you to attract what you desire into your life, you must first learn how to program and eventually master your subconscious mind. Your mind is always thinking, whether you are aware of it or not. 24 hours a day, your brain is thinking thoughts. Some thoughts you consciously control, others you don't. Pay attention to what you are thinking when you are not using controlled thought. What thoughts run through your mind when you are not really thinking? Catch yourself and take note. If you find you are thinking thoughts that have any of the "fear" emotions, stop yourself and redirect your thought immediately to one of a positive nature. Once you start doing this, you will start to influence your subconscious mind by the law of habit. You will begin to reprogram your mind to naturally reach for the better feeling thought, and that alone will start to change what you are receiving in life.

These are the 7 major positive emotions that are the most powerful. Use your power to control your thought and guide yourself to feel the following emotions through that thought. Harness the power of your present moment by feeling these emotions as often as possible.

The emotion of FAITH
The emotion of LOVE
The emotion of SEX
The emotion of ENTHUSIASM
The emotion of ROMANCE
The emotion of HOPE

Attempt to shelter yourself, almost going into your own world, totally ignoring and avoiding ANYTHING that is negative. Find the positive in everything. Choose to only think about good things, and look for anything to be grateful for.

There are also 7 major negative emotions that will cause your desires to move away, and create an experience you do not want. These emotions will stop you dead in your tracks, and paralyze you from moving forward until you change your thought and feeling. Strive to block or shift from these negative emotions as soon as you feel them come up. It does take practice, but you can do it. The emotions that are the most damaging to your success, and the ones to try and avoid are:

The emotion of FEAR
The emotion of JEALOUSY
The emotion of HATRED
The emotion of REVENGE
The emotion of GREED
The emotion of SUPERSTITION
The emotion of ANGER

Change your subconscious mind, and only feed it your exact desires, positive, nurturing thoughts, and look for the silver lining in every situation. Completely abandoned, totally ignore and try not to allow yourself to feel any of the negative emotions listed here. Feed your brain ONLY good things. You will reprogram your mind to one of success and happiness, and change your thought process forever. You will not only see the results of more positive experiences in your life, but you will feel the results. Stress will melt away, and you will be filled with happiness and joy. The mind and body thrives on positive thoughts, and changes you and your experience.

It is VERY IMPORTANT when you are learning to use these principles, to always remember, that you are still a STUDENT, we all are. Be gentle with yourself. Changing your thoughts to all nourishing and positive can be challenging, but you can do it, and it will get easier. Gain understanding of exactly how all the principles work. Research them. Learn how to apply this knowledge in your life. What you can do for certain right now, is start blocking all negative thought and emotion, and prepare your brain to receive all that you desire!

Learning the Secret: Building Trust in the Universe

In the universe, there is always enough. There is actually MORE than enough for all of us. Why is it that so many of us struggle each day to get where we want to go? The reason is because people do not trust the universe. We are trying to take the lead, when really, we should strive to be in harmony with the universe, and allow it to naturally pull us towards where we want to go. When we step out in full faith, trust, and allow ourselves to be led rather than trying to take the lead, we will find the results we are looking for.

A big part of building trust with the universe is to first trust ourselves. Be comfortable with who you are. Embrace who you are, and where you are. We may not like where we are at times, but if we do not develop a pure acceptance of where we are in the present moment, then that is exactly where we will stay. We need to be happy with where we are, and look forward to where we are going. We all have gifts inside us that will lead us to extreme levels of success. Find out what yours are. They are there, and there are ways to find out what they are. Look for them. You need to get a clear understanding of who you are, and what you are here to do. Once you know this, the universe will lead you there effortlessly.

We do not need to know how we are going to get there. We just need to know where we are going. As humans, we naturally want to know the “why” of everything, or what the reason is. Think about this. Have you ever been to where you want to go? Chances are no. Since you have not been there, do you know how to get there? Chances are you don’t. The universe does. In fact, the universe knows how to get you where you want to go in the fastest way possible. A lot of times we resist as we do not see how the opportunity the presented to us will get us to where we want to be. We think we know a better way, but in all truth, our way is a long winding road, and most of us get lost along the way.

You can build your faith, and trust in the universe through practice and experience. If you are having a hard time really trusting, just start taking baby steps in faith. Remember, things don’t always go the way we think they should. If you trust that you will have what you need when you need it, it will be there. Some get confused between wants and needs, but I assure you, everything you need you already have. As you take your little steps in faith, and you receive, your next step may be a little bigger. Soon enough, you will be leaping out in faith, and you will receive your reward, your desire, and your wants.

This is a journey, a process, and we can only start where we are. You must build trust one small step at a time.

A lot of the time people are missing out on big manifestations by getting caught up in the apparent “let down”. I find sometimes really great manifestations often show up in the form of a disappointment or let down. A path you didn’t really choose, or an option you would not consider. If you just go with the flow of things, and not allow yourself to get caught up in the fact that things didn’t go the way you wanted it to go, and be open to what is offered, move forward in joy, you will receive a big manifestation shortly after.

Sometimes things just don’t go our way. We have the choice of how to respond, and what thoughts we think surrounding the situation. I believe these are tests given to us, and if you stay focused, not allow yourself to get caught up in the apparent “stress” of a situation, and you pass that test.... instantly things manifest. Bigger doors open. Better opportunities come into our life.

You must always be open to receive the bigger opportunity, the better door, even if it is disguised as misfortune. Being open means keeping your cool when things don’t go your way. Not allowing it to change your plans, your feelings, or where you are going. Keep your focus, and the next step on your path to your great success will come to fruition.

Remember, the universe KNOWS MORE than you do about what the next step is that will take you to your goal. Trust and you will receive.

Love yourself and be awake -today, tomorrow, always.
First establish yourself in the way, then teach others, and so defeat sorrow.
To straighten the crooked you must first do a harder thing - straighten yourself.
You are the only master. Who else?

Learning the Secret: Time, Energy and Increasing Productivity

I have invested some time listening to Bill Barens Time Experts program. It has been FASCINATING to say the least, and it is packed with incredible insight and knowledge on how to create more time, increase your energy and productivity. The experts he speaks with are fabulous and full of great tips. My understanding is growing immensely. I am very grateful to have this knowledge in my possession!

I would like to share with you a few tips and insights I have found very valuable and important. Implementing these suggestions in your life will increase your productivity, and also the quality of the outcome of your task.

One of the most important things to remember is to become AWARE of the energy you carry at all times. In order to attract the thing you want into your life, you must maintain your best energy in all aspects of what you are doing. What does that look like? Well, the better question would be what does that feel like? When you are in your best energy, you are feeling good. Feelings like enthusiasm, joy, love, excitement are great positive energy feelings.

Secondly,you must become PRESENT in each moment of your lives. What does that mean? It means having clarity of focus on what you are doing. To not allow yourself to get distracted, not thinking about 5 other things, all the while doing something else. When you are trying to focus on too many things, you sell yourself short because you cannot give your best energy to anything when you have broken it up into smaller pieces on all the things you are focused on. Choose one thing, work on it for a set amount of time in full focus, and when you are done, or the time you have set aside for that task is done, wrap it up and move on.

Any time you spend on anything is irrelevant, unless you brought forth the proper energy. For example: You could spend 10 hours working on writing a book. However, if during that 10 hours you were feeling frustrated with writers block, or interrupted by people, phone calls, text, e-mails, just might as well have been doing something else. If however, you set aside say 1 hour to put FULL focus on your project/obligation/task, commit to shutting out all distraction, only focus on that one thing, coupled with bringing a great energy of joy and enthusiasm to that task........chances are, you will get MUCH more accomplished in that 1 hour then you would have in the entire 10 hours you spent multitasking.
This applies to all areas of your life. Start getting in the habit of asking yourself, am I wasting my time, investing my time or exchanging my time?

How do we decide what task to do first? There is always so much to do. Here is a great way to begin to get into the habit of planning your day for maximum performance. Before you go to bed at night, write down 3 things you want to get done the following day, that if those were the ONLY things you accomplished you would be completely happy. When you get up in the morning, set aside 30-60 minutes to yourself, EVEN if this means having to get up earlier. It WILL be well invested time, you will see results. When you get up, visit each task you wanted work on that particular day. Notice how you feel and what your energy does when you think of each task. Choose the task that you feel the best energy about. Decide how long you are going to spend on that task(even if its only 15 minutes) and DO IT. Feel grateful and proud when your invested time is done, revisit your tasks, and choose the next one that gives you the best energy. Please note, "tasks" does not just mean work. Some of my "tasks" are: housework, times with my kids/husband, time for my personal growth/meditation, banking, groceries, etc. Complete the 3 tasks you wrote down the previous night and feel wonderful. Now everything else you accomplish is just gravy. Check in with your energy, and choose the other things you are going to do that day accordingly. Remember to set a end time to the task before you begin, even just to check in with yourself and if you need to switch tasks, take a break, or choose to continue on.

Following this system really helps to keep you present in you life, and aware of your energy. This will increase your productivity as you will get done what CAN be done right now, in this moment. I think you will find yourself actually getting MORE done then you thought you would. Stress will decrease as you will no longer have "time" to worry about things that have yet to come. You will be focused, productive, and happy.

One final important point that will really help with procrastination. NEVER think about how long it is going to take to finish a project/task. Looking at the whole project can be overwhelming, and dig up all sorts of garbage that causes us to procrastinate. Instead, each day think of "Where can I start today" Decide where you are starting and do it. Everyday, we must "start" everything we do. Know matter where you are on a task, you still have to start somewhere everyday, and you can only start where you are. Soon you will see, that the finish line comes the last time you started that day.

Do you have a large task you want to tackle. Here is another great exercise to practice to achieve maximum results in minimal time.

How to Power Your Day with a Power Hour

· CHOOSE YOUR TOP PRIORITY: Select the project or activity that will have the greatest impact on your house/organization/work etc.

· ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS: Switch off your phone, close your email software, hide newspapers, etc. (The world will survive if you are unavailable for an hour!).

· SET A TIMER FOR 50 MINUTES: Put a timer on and set it for 50 minutes. For example, if it’s 10am, set an alarm for 10:50am. This step is key, so don’t skip it!

· WORK WITH FOCUS FOR 50 MINUTES: During that 50 minute period, work only on the high-priority project you’ve selected. Do not get distracted and start working on something else. If the top priority project will take several hours, then go ahead and finish off a 50-minute chunk. Soon that's all that will be left.

· DON’T DO ANYTHING ELSE: Don’t check email, don’t make phone calls, don’t get coffee, etc. Instead, get some serious work done.

When the timer goes off, take a 10 minute break, something that will refresh you. .

This is pretty simple, right? But after the Power Hour, you’ll have a major sense of accomplishment from getting a key project done (or a big piece of it done), rather than putting it off and having it hang over your head all day.

If you do a Power Hour every day, I think you’ll be amazed at what you can get done in a day and by the end of the week. When I first started doing this, I was blown away by how much more I could get done. Really getting organized and reaching your goals makes room for enjoying more time to do other things.

Learning the Secret : 5 Keys to Manifesting Money

Believe it or not, we all have the potential inside us to create an abundance of money. If you are experiencing a lack of money in your life, or you find you have to work hard for money, then there is something you may not be aware of or something you do not understand. Understanding is everything in terms of learning to attract what you want. Here are 5 key points to help bring you clarity and understanding. Learn and embrace them in order to manifest more money into your experience.

1.No Lack in the Universe – You first have to accept, believe, and accept that there is absolutely no lack in the universe. The universe is abundant and there is more than enough for everyone. You may be feeling a lack in your life, but that is exactly why you are not receiving your share of all that the universe wants to give you. It actually wants to give to you more then you even want to have, however, it cannot deliver while you are focused on, and/or are feeling lack. Look at the areas in your life where you have more than enough. Look for stories and situations where people are experiencing more than enough and feel good about it. Focus on those who are living an abundant life and feel happy for them, knowing you will enjoy abundance as well. Most importantly, be grateful for what you do have and appreciate all you receive, however small it may seem.

2.Get Comfortable with where you are – You need to really accept and be happy with where you are. It may not be where you want to be, but it is what it is. We all have to start somewhere, and the only place we can ever start is in the present moment, where we are right now. It will be difficult to grow if you cannot be content with your current situation and be grateful about it. Do you need a little help? Well, if you were not where you are now, you would not be reading this article, or on this blog looking for ways to improve your life. You would still be running around in circles, lost if you may. How wonderful it is that you are, right now, taking the steps to make some changes in your life. Right now you are on the path of abundance, looking at the map of how to get there. Soon enough you will be celebrating the achievement of your successes. See how easy it is! Once you know where you are, and are happy about it, you will be ready to get in the flow and fast track your life and finances to where you want to go.

3.Know what you want and why – Have a clear vision of what you want to manifest in terms of money. Ask yourself why you want it. When do you want it by? What are you going to use it for? You see money is a tool for our use. It needs to have a purpose in order for it to flow to you when you want to attract it. What are you going to give back in order to receive this money? We must provide value to the universe in order to receive what we desire. What value are you offering? Think about your answers and really allow yourself to feel what it feels like to have that money. Imagine yourself spending the money. What do you look like with the money? How do you feel? Where are you? Who are you with? Really allow yourself to feel that. Enjoy and play with your vision. Let your imagination run wild, and cast away any thought or feeling of doubt that you will have this. It will take practice. Really connect, and strive to embrace that feeling, and carry that joy with you in your day to day life.

4.Decide what level you want to play at – There is a big difference between manifesting a few thousand dollars or millions. Remember what I said about providing value, well, if you want to be a millionaire, then you need to be using your full and best energy as much as possible. You need to be offering a million dollars of value of yourself to the universe. What does that look like? Well, first of all you need to strive to stay at the top of your game. It is managing your emotions, and being in a constant state of flow. It means really being present in your life, and whatever it is you are doing, giving it your best, always. You need to embrace who you are and what you love. Continue the path of personal growth and do your best every day, in all areas of your life, is all you need to do. The way for you to receive the money will come. You just need to be present and do your best.

5.Watch for the Signs - This is the part people often fail to see. The universe is not going to drop bags of money from the sky, as nice as that thought is. That is not how the manifestation of money works. What will happen is the universe will provide you with every opportunity for the manifestation of the money you are asking for to occur. You MUST take action on the opportunities given, and follow the path to your desire. Often times we do not recognise the opportunity because we are too busy waiting and looking for something else. We are looking in a different direction. The universe brings everything in order, it is law. The next step may not be the step we intended to take. It may not be in the direction we thought we would be going, however, the universe will lay out the path that will manifest your goals in the fastest way possible. We need to leap out in faith, act on our inspired impulses, take inspired actions, and watch for the opportunities that are provided to us. A word of caution. Sometimes certain doors must close in order for others to open. Try not to resist the change, even if it shows up in the form of misfortune. Always be open to receiving the bigger and better door, even if you cannot see it. It is the one that will lead to your dreams.

Finally, the universe will only give you the amount of money you are NOW comfortable handling. Ask yourself if you are ready to receive the amount you desire. Are you ready to handle all that comes with it? Are you really ready, on a deeper level? If not, do what you need to do in order to prepare yourself for it. Get comfortable with the thought of actually having the money, and how you feel with it. Get familiar with the value you are going to offer our world. What piece of the big puzzle are you holding? Do you know? What do you need to do in order to find out? What can you do today to bring you closer to your goals?

Keep your focus on your vision, your goals. Develop a burning desire, and learn what it feels like to have what you want. Feeling it will bring up a determination in you I cannot describe. Master these steps, and flow gracefully to the freedom of your new wealth.

Learning the Secret: Are you a Chicken or an Eagle?

I came across a wonderful fable from Anthony de Mello, a man who really seemed to understand the human condition. Well worth the share!

An eagle lays an egg but somehow the egg finds its way into a chicken coup. A chicken incubates the egg with all her others and when it hatches, she rears the eaglet as if it were one of her own chicks. It learns to peck the dust for food, to flap its wings and to strut around the farmyard. One day, an eagle flies by overhead. The little eagle looks up and sees this, and says to himself, ‘I wish I were an eagle – how majestic, how free, how beautiful to be like that and have such a life.’ The eagle lived like a chicken and died like a chicken, because that’s what he thought he was.

You are an eagle, able to fly up to whatever heights you desire. You need to embrace and realise all that you are, and all that you are capable of being. You are here for a reason, and have a purpose to fulfill. Don't die a chicken, reach out your wings, become that eagle and see what height you can reach. You were meant to fly!

Learning the Secret : Meridian Tapping week 1 follow up

Hello Everyone,

So it has been a little over a week since I started my EFT tapping intensive. The facilitators of the tapping technique I am using are Elyse Hope Killoran from Choosing Prosperity and Max Wellspring I have 5 different tapping and energy processes that I am alternating between daily.

What I have noticed

I had to laugh the first night I started as I had committed to doing this intensive, and the universe likes to try and keep you where you are. Nothing went my way, the babies were super fussy, I couldn't get on the computer to listen, and my Mp3 player mysteriously disappeared preventing me from going to another area of the house to do it. I knew exactly what was going on and said out loud to the universe "You are not going to stop me, I AM starting the process tonight NO MATTER WHAT!" I never got the babies settled until 11:15pm, and despite my exhaustion, I still sat down and did the process, and it felt GREAT! The rest of the week went very smooth.

Emotionally I feel fabulous. I mean, I did before I started, but it is amplified, I am really feeling extremely happy, and I find I am really looking for more to be grateful about, things I was over looking before, the really little things like having running water, and power, and all these luxuries that we have now because of the hard work, ideas and inventions of those from our past. The people who built our roads, and put up our power lines. I feel a deep appreciation about everything I have experienced, especially with the birth of our twins, and all the miracles and blessings we received during that time.

Physically, I felt really great for the first 5 days, and the last couple of days I feel quite tired. I think this could be because of being in a constant state of a high vibration/energy for those 5 days that I am just exhausted, or it could also be getting up with my twins at night. I think it is a combination of the two. I actually missed a night of tapping as I fell asleep at 9pm, soon after they did. I also have had moments when doing the process that I can almost feel myself shifting, like a dizziness, or that I can actually feel my vibrations....odd sensation, but very cool. Today, I once again am feeling more energetic, despite the fact I was up with the babies 3 times last night. I am excited to see what the day will bring.

What has changed in my physical environment since starting. Well, I got together with friends who I hadn't seen for a few months, I shared this process with them, and they really enjoyed it. I finally had a reiki treatment which I have been trying to do for several months, things finally just all fell into place, and everything was and is going my way. I bought some audio books, The Power, and some Abraham Hicks material which I am getting into and enjoying. The icing on the cake, now I am not sure if this is related or not, but it is something I have been wanting for a VERY long time, but I know it was not my choice to make. My husband QUIT SMOKING!! After almost 30 years of being a smoker, he just quit, and I couldn't be happier!! I know that it is his choice, but I can't help but wonder if my increase in energy sort of rubbed off on him and he finally decided to do it. He never talked about it, or said anything, and actually hadn't smoked for 2 days before I actually noticed and asked about it. Very cool.

So, after one week, things are going well, I am enjoying this process, and I am excited to see what the next week brings. I will keep you posted.

Abundance Check Ritual for the New Moon

This ritual has been handed down through so many people that its origin has become unknown.

So What Is An Abundance Check?

Writing an Abundance Check is an exercise you can use to create more abundance in your life and the check is to be written within 24 hours after each New Moon.

It is not necessary to believe that the check will work when you write it and you may be surprised at the increased Abundance you find flowing into your life, whether it be financial or in other areas of your life.

It is best to follow the described procedure; however, if you do not have a checking account you may also draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way to receive the same results.

Follow these steps to write your Abundance checks WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER A NEW MOON:

1. On your check where it says "Pay to," write your name.

2. On the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write "Paid in full."

3. On the next line where you would write out a dollar amount, write "Paid in full." [Some say it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]

4. On the signature line, sign your check: "The Law of Abundance"

It is not necessary to put a date on the check and you DO NOT write a specific dollar amount on the check. Then put the check away in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take over from there.

If you feel skeptical about the Abundance Check Exercise, just do it routinely every month for a while and see what happens!

Learning the Secret : Meridian Tapping Intensive

Happy New Year Everyone!!

To start off this year, I have decided to put myself through a meridian tapping intensive. I have used this technique sporadically in the past, and always felt wonderful, and noticed an increase in my vibration after. It is a great tool, and I am going to put it to full use to get a big jump start in 2011. I am excited to see what happens when I consistently use the meridian tapping technique daily for 30 days to further raise my vibration.

Last year was wonderful, I gave birth to our beautiful identical twin girls, although they came 2 months early, they are well, healthy, thriving, and most importantly, home with us. The last year has been exhausting to say the least, with the pregnancy, and the NICU stay, and taking care of new twins. I have been loving every minute of it, but I have to say, it was a challenge to take time out for me, for my meditations, my writing, blogs and personal time. Now that things are settling down, the twins are getting close to sleeping through the night, I am ready to jump back into my writing, my own personal development work, and share with you all what has transpired. I have had many profound moments this past year, especially with all we endured with our twins coming 2 months early. Things would have been a lot different had I not been where I was and am. During a time you would think would be stressful, was wonderful, peaceful, beautiful and incredibly spiritually moving. I would like to share the birth story of the girls, however, that will be for a different post.

Back to the tapping intensive. I am going to be participating in a guided meridian tapping technique to further raise my vibration, and I will be doing this daily for the next 30 days. The tapping techniques are a form of acupressure – tapping or rubbing or steady pressure - on certain points of the upper body with 1, 2 or 3 fingers combined with a statement of the limiting belief to be released. Tapping can also be used to anchor affirmations within the body, mind, spirit dynamic. In essence I will be bypassing the programmed mind of the intellect and accessing the body’s intelligence to effect release of limiting belief or blocks and to promote integration of the positive at a cellular level.

I am interested to see what happens, and how I feel, or what changes in life will take place over the next 30 days while faithfully doing this daily. My only undisturbed time these days is after I get the kids to bed, so I will be doing this in the evenings, before I go to bed at night. I will keep a journal of how I feel, and I will post once a week on what has happened that week, and the changes I am noticing.

I am really excited to see what transpires, because I have to tell you, right now, life is just so wonderful, I feel so grateful for all that we have, and for my beautiful babies, and things are close to perfect. Looking forward to seeing how they are going to get even better!!!!

I can't believe how much my life has changed both on the outside, and inside of me, in how I feel everyday since the beginning of my journey. I am so forever grateful for having the courage to walk this path, and I encourage you to look inside and do the same. You only have things to gain! Make this year a great one!!

Learning the Secret: 10 Powerful Affirmations

An affirmation is a declaration that something is true. A belief is the psychological state in which an individual holds a proposition or premise to be true. Here is a list of 10 powerful affirmations for you to use. Repeat them daily so they become beliefs in your mind, thus will inevitably become a manifestation into your physical experience. The optimal time to do this exercise it first thing in the morning when you wake up, and right before you go to sleep at night.

I am joyfully creating the life of my dreams
I am enjoying my wealth and financial freedom.
I am magnetic to money and it is magnetic to me.
I am open and receptive to unexpected financial bonuses.
I am always putting 100% effort into achieving my goals.
My income increases with every passing day.
The universe is abundant and that includes me.
The source of my income is immediate and endless.
I am joyfully creating wealth with honesty and integrity.
I am giving thanks for everything I have achieved.

Creating your own affirmations can be a powerful tool. A few guidelines I learned from Jack Canfield to help your affirmations work for you.

1. Make them positive
2. State your affirmation in the present tense, as if it is already occurring
3. Be specific
4. Try and include an "ing" word, or even make it rhyme
5. Include a feeling with your affirmation, eg, joyfully, excited, loving
6. Make it brief and easy to remember(this will allow your subconscious to accept and memorize it easier)
7. Make it personal to you
8. Try and start the affirmation with "I am"

Be creative and have fun with making your affirmations, repeat them daily morning and night, and soon these affirmations will be new beliefs in your mind, and will show up as reality in your life!
